OMG, ouch! Psychologically speaking, what I take away from this is that all of them are not just trying to live up to some ideal of self-confidence and seductiveness, theyve already positively concluded that they as themselves are completely worthless. So nobody is being themselves, which is the one thing you could actually connect with, even if it isnt perfect. They all have this learned self-confidence that Im sure many of them are actually uncomfortable with. But you can feel the self-dismissal right behind the self-confidence. Only a couple of times is anyone just themselves for a second, and then veer away. Of course its a montage, but still its very sad.
