ON THE FREE SANITARY PAD: I think the right questions we should ask as citizens are not being asked. Before I say some of the questions that must be asked, lets get the facts straight. 1. Its true, govt is borrowing $156million from the world bank. 2. Its NOT true the whole money is being used for the free sanitary pad project. According to myjoyonline and citifmonline, ...support construction of Senior High Schools in the country and out of the money an amount of 15 million dollars will go into scholarship for over ten thousand students to pursue senior high education... --- myjoyonline ...The project forms part of government’s promise to build 200 new Senior High Schools across the country. Part of the loan facility will also be used as scholarship for students in deprived areas who may have difficulties in paying their fees... --- citifmonline ..prising buying school uniforms, maths set, school bags, books, sanitary pads…, --- citifmonline 3. Clearly, the sanitary pad thing is a smaller segment of the whole package. NOW THE QUESTIONS 1.
