ONCE UPON A TIME . . .The TRUE story ALL about the BASE! THE OLD TESTAMENT, DEUTERONOMY Chapter 19 Once upon a time, a very long, long TIME ago! In the TIME of MOSES! GOD said, When I DESTROY the NATIONS in the LAND where I am leading you, the LAND that I have PROMISED you, and when you begin to LIVE in this NEW LAND, this is what you must do: Set 3 cities apart. These will be Cities of REFUGE! If anyone KILLS someone, he must RUN! RUUUUUNNNNN!!!! Run to one of the cities of REFUGE! And THERE ONLY will he be SAFE! That will be a BASE of SAFETY! And NO ONE may HURT anyone that is ON BASE in the city of REFUGE! For that is where the Levites live, who are the PRIESTS of GOD, and they will protect you there. When the PRIESTS find out the TRUTH about what happened, if the whole thing was an accident, and the one who killed another is innocent, then he may remain there and live there in SAFETY, in the City of REFUGE. But! If! The person is found to be guilty of MURDER! He CANNOT remain on BASE in the City of REFUGE! He must be CAST OUT of the City of REFUGE and into the HANDS of those SEEKING VENGEANCE, where NO ONE will show him any PITY! For ANYONE who is HOT with ANGER, such as a RELATIVE of the MURDERED victim, then they will NOT BE GUILTY for AVENGING the BLOOD of their LOVED ONE! As LONG as it is not SPILT in the CITY of REFUGE! There is to be NO SAFETY for a MURDERER OUTSIDE a City of REFUGE! In this way, The PROMISED LAND will be FREE from GUILT of INNOCENT BLOOD. And, IF a witness testifies FALSELY in ANY CASE, then the JUDGMENT of the CRIME of the accused, shall FALL upon the ACCUSER! For the ACCUSER has BORN FALSE WITNESS, and MUST RECEIVE the PUNISHMENT for the CRIME he accused FALSELY! Do unto HIM as he has thought to be DONE to the one he has ACCUSED! An EYE for an EYE! TOOTH for a TOOTH! HAND for a HAND! FOOT for a FOOT! In this way, EVERYONE will SEE and FEAR! And in this way, EVIL will be PUT AWAY from among you, in the LAND which I have PROMISED you says THE LORD. THE NEW TESTAMENT, HEBREWS Chapter 8: But NOW, JESUS has a MORE EXCELLENT ministry! For JESUS has obtained for us A NEW and BETTER COVENANT with GOD! A COVENANT With BETTER PROMISES! A COVENANT HE PAID for with HIS OWN BLOOD! Under the OLD COVENANT, only the INNOCENT were SAFE! Everyone lived in FEAR! Under the LAW and the PENALTY of THE LAW! As it is written , AS MANY AS HAVE SINNED IN THE LAW, SHALL BE JUDGED BY THE LAW! (Romans 2:12) Therefore, by the DEEDS of THE LAW shall NO ONE BE SAVED! (Romans 3:20) For ALL have SINNED and BROKEN THE LAW! But, NOW! The RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD is MADE REAL for US! THROUGH FAITH in JESUS! WITHOUT THE LAW! For ANYONE who BELIEVES! FREELY! By GODS GRACE! We are JUSTIFIED and SAVED! FORGIVEN and MADE RIGHT with GOD! Through the REDEMPTION that is IN CHRIST! IN CHRIST! IN CHRIST! IN CHRIST! STAY ON BASE! Its ALL about the BASE! IN CHRIST! We are SAFE! Outside of CHRIST we will be JUDGED by THE LAW! Its NOT SAFE out there in the world! STAY ON BASE! REMAIN IN CHRIST! HE is our REFUGE! Its ALL about the BASE! about the BASE! about the BASE! NO TROUBLE! ACTS 17:28 For IN HIM (JESUS!) we LIVE! and MOVE! and HAVE OUR BEING! LIVE in CHRIST! MOVE in CHRIST! REMAIN in CHRIST! HE is our CITY of REFUGE! STAY ON BASE! Where its SAFE! Its ALL about the BASE! JOHN 15: 5-7 I AM the VINE! YOU are the BRANCHES! If you ABIDE in ME, and MY WORDS abide in YOU! Ask for ANYTHING and BELIEVE! And I will DO IT! FOR YOU! ~ JESUS Its ALL about the BASE! about the BASE! about the BASE! NO TROUBLE! 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 Therefore, if ANYONE be IN CHRIST! IN CHRIST! IN CHRIST! He is a NEW PERSON! OLD things have PASSED AWAY! BEHOLD! ALL things are NEW! AND BETTER! 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21 For GOD has made JESUS to be SIN for US! As HE HUNG on THE CROSS! HE who knew NO SIN, has BECOME sin FOR US! That WE would be made the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD, IN HIM! That is, IN JESUS CHRIST! OUR BASE! OUR CITY OF REFUGE! ROMANS 8:1 Therefore, there is now NO CONDEMNATION for them which are IN CHRIST JESUS! DO NOT get OFF BASE! EPHESIANS 2:10 For WE are GODS workmanship! Created IN CHRIST JESUS! As we LIVE IN CHRIST, GOD works IN US! 1 JOHN 4:4 You are of GOD, little children! GREATER is HE that is IN YOU! Than he that is in the world! IN CHRIST, we have FREEDOM from THE LAW! IN CHRIST, we have VICTORY over DEATH! IN CHRIST, we have POWER over SATAN! IN CHRIST, we have HEALING! and BLESSINGS! IN CHRIST, we have HOPE! and a FUTURE! IN CHRIST, we have LIFE! LIFE ETERNAL! and PEACE EVERLASTING! Its ALL about the BASE! about the BASE! about the BASE! NO TROUBLE!
