ONE DAY One day It will go in history Maybe be published in Dailies obituary- Part My depart Or announced in radio In its sailed-souls sad sorrowful audio- Waves My death drives The only day I’ve been of so-o sure When time is mature I will board my eternity machua Yes, this day is certain That when mine breath withdraws Mine life curtain- Draws And this earth will have no more obligations nor space me to more retain Nor maintain ‘Cause they say death is a process, A procession to life’s recess A passage in life’s live Death, is a house destined for everyone alive For we all are made of breath A breath that at one point in life flies away to never return to hearth When this breath sways And goes on this day’s This life will bend to where it all begun My heart will stop beating My lungs will stop breathing My life will give up living My thoughts will give in thinking My blood in its veins and vessels will congeal flowing and bleeding My sensory system will collapse and stop its emotion sensation My sight will surrender seeing My ears will end their hearing My nerves will numb from feelings I will lay lifeless; I will stare sightless I’ll stiffen motionless, breathless, heartless………….. I’ll be mortally mortified waiting for my mortician mummification Internment and entombment To those of you lucky, I will have a moment I’ll still have with the last words to say Goodbye and safe stay To you unlucky, you will only learn of my demise Through man or mass media or news Through deceased cross, epitaph calligraphy Don’t worry Neither be so sorry It is a rite of passage I will write you a condolences message When I go I’ll leave you a note To denote: To love truly, honestly and righteously To rule equitably and justly To live humbly and humanely To give generously and charitably To care kindly and mercifully For the unfortunate-rare and despair To feed the hungry and angry To keep peace in one piece-be brotherly to each other! To do good to others as you would love them to do unto you To pray, wish and do well even to those who do unto you bad To selflessly sacrifice for the sake of others-it is a charitable virtue! To love and live in matrimony of harmony And most of all to love your Maker with your all: And your neighbours as you love yourselves When that time be, Adios mi amigos!
