ONE THING I KNOW. It reads right in the Constitution that Congress is in charge of immigration, not the President. It started out long ago as a way to make sure that the people coming here were not criminals and might have useful skills. Under the Reagan Administration it got turned into a Quota System where every nation in the world was allowed so many people to send to America every year. Then it got where if a person were here they could have their family go to the front of the line for admission. Between that and the facts of countries combining and fracturing it has become such a mess that it is unworkable. Then we have a man in the White House that wants to give millions of illegal immigrants free citizenship, even the criminals? I would strongly urge Congress to put a freeze on immigration except for emergencies like Political Asylum or matters of life or death. It needs rebuilt to where we get people worth keeping and not the dregs of society every other country wants to foist off on us. Plus we need to get rid or or combine and pare all these different agencies in charge of border security and make a viable and workable system that stops the flood. Id strongly urge that on Congress.
