Its come to my attention that the Mayor of Marysville has no knowledge of me or my plight with the city and their water shut off notice. Now this is perplexing...especially since Ive appeared at 2 city council meetings, written a letter, been interviewed by King 5 News, and had my letter posted in the Marysville Globe. Maybe you were like me and thought, Well, it not affecting me. But thats about to change. In 2016 your current contract ends with Waste Management and you too, will be under the cities municipal code which mandates you use their service. Exercising civil disobedience was a way to shine light on an ineffective municipal code. Ive jumped through all their hoops, and nothing has changed. Now I need your help. Take a moment to click on the mayors email address and jot a note. You dont have to live in Marysville to be heard. Just express your disapproval of a mandatory garbage fee, and your desire to be allowed to choose the curbside garbage pick up.
