ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!!! Monday, Jan. 19th, Januarys Jazz Gumbo will feature Gino Rosaria and Friends, Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. - Music starts at 6:30 p.m. Seville Quarter, Phineas Phoggs, 130 E. Government St, Pensacola, (850) 434-6211 Born and raised in Curacao, Gino always had an interest in music and science. Growing up on a very culturally diverse island, Gino learned to speak four different languages fluently. The influence of the many cultures allowed him to learn and play many different kinds of music, which became a part of his identity. Later on he grew to enjoy Jazz, Latin, and Classical music the most. Gino started performing on a regular basis in his early teens. Admission: $10 each for JSOP members and guests, $15 for nonmembers, $5 for students with ID, and FREE for military in uniform. Admission includes a cup of seafood gumbo. Door prizes are given away via drawing of admission tickets, and attendees can purchase 50/50 tickets for another drawing where the winner gets half and JSOP gets the other half as a benefit to the Societys music program.
