Theres so much brilliant and subversive burlesque being produced around the country you owe it to yourself and your own happiness to get along to some of these events! Many are produced by DrSketchys performers past and pending , and even more feature these artists and many others in their natural outrageous and joyous environment . It beats hands down the pre-packaged , homogenised , monochrome and soulless fodder we are usually offered. It also supports a large creative community doing what they love, and innumerable offshoots, sidelines, cottage industries, costumers, photographers, choreographers, performance schools, musicians ....the list is endless! And theres inevitably booze, bling , boobies and and a bloody good time....so its a no-brainer!
