And when I saw Lady, I knew that I wanted to meet her. She sat in her kennel, calmly peering out at me, smiling in anticipation of me opening the door. Lady was brought to us due to her owner being in the hospital, and it appears that Lady needs some medical care as well. Though she has been well fed, and likely loved as shown by her sweet demeanor, she has some issues with her eyes, was often shaking her head/ears and is in desperate need of a bath. But its no coincidence that Lady is her name. She is polite and well-mannered, has great leash manners and seems to have been housetrained. Even when approaching a somewhat unruly young pup, Lady maintains her respectable attitude. She allows me to handle her all over, and lets me wipe out her eyes. She seems to crave and love affection, and giving her a couple of treats only seems to speed up the bonding process for her!
