OPEN LETTER TO HONBLE MAYOR CHANDIGARH : To, Shri Harphool Chand Kalyan Ji, Honble Mayor, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh. Subject: Resignation from MC as Mayor on Moral Grounds. Kalyan Ji, Today, Shri Narender Modi Ji fatefully submitted the letter to the H.E President of India, acclaiming to form the Government of India. Its meant to be a historical day as the sweep of BJP/NDA have swept the name of Congress Party throughout the nation. Democracy is for the people, by the people and to the people. And the voice of the people have unanimously shouted for the change, making BJP victorious in these Lok Sabha elections. Following the course of the country, the people of Chandigarh too have declared their will for change. Even the posts of Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor have been pocketed by BJP/SAD alliance. People wanted change and have rightly brought it by completely uprooting the Congress Party. Let the horses have new reins and a new horseman. The mandate given by the voters of Chandigarh surely indicates that they want such change in Chandigarh Municipal Corporation. BJP broke all the previous records and have won with a thumping margin of around 70,000 votes. Moreover, the ward which had made you victorious as a Councillor and the ward of MC where you reside, have both, disappointed you and the Congress Party ( from statistics) Kalyan Ji, I would like to join the voices of people and ask you humbly to resign from your posit of MAYOR, on MORAL GROUNDS.
