OPEN LETTER TO PENELOPE CRUZ AND JAVIER BARDEM By Dennis Prager All who love freedom, democracy, and the State of Israel, are offended by your flagrant show of hypocrisy. Our respect for you has ended forever. You and the other 100 so called Spanish artists are the last people on Earth to pass judgment on the Jewish people and the definition of genocide. It was your ancestors who committed one of the greatest crimes against humanity 500 years ago, massacring, burning and expelling 600,000 Jews, in an event that is commonly acknowledged as the beginning of the end of the Spanish Empire, and from which Spain has never fully recovered. You, Mr. Bardem and Ms. Cruz, need to hang your heads in shame and educate yourselves on the pain and suffering that your people inflicted on the Jews which, along with the pogroms of Russia and the Holocaust, forced Jews to return to their ancient homeland and bring about the re-birth of Israel. You and the anti-Semitic Left need to stop using the word genocide so gratuitously, because when you throw that word around so flippantly, you diminish that term and it looses all significance. You, Ms.Cruz and Mr. Bardem, need to be reminded that genocide is the extermination of 6 million Jews, representing one third of the entire world Jewish population. Genocide is the slaughter of over 1 million Armenians by the Turks, who now side and do the bidding for Hamas. Genocide is the killing of over 1 million people in Rwanda, and another 1 million in Cambodia. Genocide is what was enacted by your beloved Queen Isabellas Grand Proclamation of 1492, and explicitly reaffirmed and expanded upon in the charter of your beloved Hamas. Genocide is the slaughter of 200,000 people in Syria these past three years, a tragedy for which neither you nor others on the Left have ever once raised a whimper in protest. Only when it comes to the Jews is it easy for you to raise your voices to denigrate a tiny nation fighting for its survival against tens of millions of Arabs dedicated to its destruction and whose vow is to kill every Jew who lives in it. The day is rapidly approaching when there will be no Jews left in Europe, only to be replaced by millions of Muslims in every country on that continent, including Spain. You and your like-minded friends will then be happy, your unused churches converted into mosques, and your societies forced to accommodate Sharia Law. Only then will you realize the consequences of your actions. In the meantime, hang your heads in shame for what you have put your names to and take pause from the anti-Semitic vitriol you so openly and proudly embrace.
