OPEN LETTER To Police commissioner, Chennai. On behalf of friends and their fathers, of Kiran Santhosh (IIIrd year student of SRM Sivaji ganesan film institute) about the mystery behind his death who was blackmailed by Aadhi and other members of the NGO called Spaaak. Kiran was associated with the Spaaak as an official photographer. 1. Kiran Santhosh residing in L1, Anna colony, South Boag Road, T.Nagar, Chennai -17. was found dead in his room on 06.07.14. His body was hanging in the fan. According to the post mortem report his death took place at around 5 o clock. 2. According to the records found in his mobile phone he was threatened by some people including Aadhi who was also a member of the NGO called Spaak. At the time of 3 o clock Aadhi sent a threatening whatsapp message with a word “We will kill you.” 3. 4.5 lakhs rupees was missing from the NGO. One person amongst the spaak name Sathish had given statement to the police that he is responsible for the lost money. 4. On the day of incident no one was home except Kiran and his bedridden grandmother. It is not clear if anyone had visited his residence before the occurrence of the incident but there is a CCTV camera in front of his apartment iwhich might have some recording about Kiran’s activities. 5. This case is handled by inspector Saravanan of E3 police station Teynampet. 6. The people belonging to the Spaak NGO are very powerful in both economical and political aspects. The voice of middle class parents and the fellow students is not heard by the authorities 7. My son and other friends of Kiran belonging SRM Sivaji Ganesan Film Institute are mentally affected by the way the case has been handled. This open letter will be shared by them.
