OPERATION RELIEF EFFORT: Her name is Mogure. She is a 42 year - TopicsExpress

OPERATION RELIEF EFFORT: Her name is Mogure. She is a 42 year old homeless woman and double amputee that crawls along the dirt roads in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. Due to poverty and disease, both her legs were amputated below the knees. She has no living family members, or so it seemed.... until recently. That was the day she met Kabugi Richards. Kabugi was introduced to Mogure through his young daughter. Together, Kabugi and his daughter shared love through selfless giving and companionship with Mogure. Now, Kabugi wants to provide a new home for Mogure and restore a sense of family to her. It was just six short months ago that Kabugi was in desperate need of help to save his own leg after being impaled by a sharp metal object while performing a rescue mission to save a drowning boy. Kabugi bravely dove into the murky sewer to save the life of his neighbors 8 year old son who had fallen down a steep embankment and was completely submerged in the sewer river. Unable to swim and drowning. Kabugi leapt into action and braved the filthy waters in order to save the boy. Both had to be treated medically due to ingestion of raw sewage. The boy was hospitalized and recovered. Kabugi was seriously injured. At that time, I called on all of my Facebook friends to assist me in paying for an expensive yet necessary surgery so that Kabugi could avoid amputation, and you came through wonderfully for him! NOW, because his leg was spared, he wants to help a homeless woman with no legs at all. He wants to provide her a new family and a new home. Lets help him in this mission. Through a collaborative effort between my company and my Facebook family of friends, a relief effort has been coordinated to provide immediate shelter and housing for this family now that they are being forced out of their mud shack. Private investors brought a proposal before the city in which the slums would be leveled and new high priced apartments will be built in their place. The city approved of the zoning and the Soweto slums will be no more. I have committed to helping Kabugi Richards and others obtain affordable housing, and I ask each of you to please assist in accomplishing our goal. Kabugi has proven time and again to share much of the little that he has with others in need, and he will bless others through the blessing he receives. We will raise the necessary funds needed to move this man, his daughter, and a poor crippled woman into a new home. Housing in Kenya is affordable by American standards, and it will be very easy for us to raise the money necessary to move this family into a new home. This man saved the life of a child. What better motivation could there be to help this great man in his time of need? We will collect donations now through Friday April 18 at which time, we will conclude this operation. THE GOAL: $1,200. This amount will allow us to provide housing for one year for two homeles families displaced by this sudden upheaval. Together, we will make a difference. HOW TO HELP: If you would like to give to this noble cause, send a private message to me or my company, Audiophile, Sound Systems Elite, expressing your intent and very simple instructions will be provided. We are requesting donations of $20 - $50, but no amount is too small. We will accept donations by in these forms: cash, money order, cashiers check, credit card or Paypal. If you are local to the Ozarks, you may make a donation in person. Gratuity receipts will be offered for tax deduction purposes. One hundred percent of all donations will go directly to this cause. The more we raise, the more families we will help. It is the multiplying of many gifts that will make this endeavor a success. We succeeded in our efforts before and we will succeed again by the grace of God and by the good that you give. Thank you for your loving support. #GeoffreyHaefele
