Living a healthy lifestyle means you live it 7 days a week, not 5, not 4 1/2...all 7. Have a PLAN going in to the weekend that will support your progress instead of hinder it! For example, if you are going to enjoy a drink or two, know ahead of time which night you are going to do enjoy, and then stick to it! Having 2 drinks Fri, Sat and Sun can be over a pound of calories!!! So, plan your weekend in such a way that you can honor your plan! Also, generally your rest day will fall on a weekend day. Having a rest day is incredibly important to maintaining a healthy lifestyle!! So, make sure you honor your rest day and truly rest! Allow yourself to take a nap; go for a walk instead of a run! Just breathe! And of course theres food. Enjoy a treat meal, but plan it. Stick to it. And make sure your treat meal is a MEAL and not a treat WEEKEND. If you follow these simple guidelines, I PROMISE youll feel SO good about yourself on Monday morning...and THAT feeling is WORTH IT. YOU ARE WORTH IT!
