It doesnt even keep up with inflation. $25 in 1998 was worth $35 today. They didnt raise the minimum wage. They merely left it the same. Basically, the Corporate Income Tax is legal. I agree with that. The 16th Amendment gives government the right to take taxes out of a corporations profits, or GAINS. But when that corporation then takes whats left over from those profits, AFTER taxes have already been taken out, and uses a portion of those profits to compensate their employees, who helped them earn that profit, then the money they are giving those employees has already been taxed. The income has already been earned by the corporation. Theyre merely compensating their employees for helping to earn that income. When the government proceeds to tax that compensation (hourly wages and salary), then they are taking income taxes out of the same income twice in a row. The 16 amendment never allows the income tax to be charged twice on the same income. They are double-dipping. 9 different Supreme Court cases have defined income as profits or gains, NOT an hourly wage or compensation for services. The individual income tax is illegal. There is no law requiring the average worker to pay an income tax. The individual Income tax pays for nothing more than the interest rate on the national debt. In other words, the money they take out of your paycheck goes directly into the hands of private bankers, who spend that money on themselves. Theyll buy themselves a new yacht, or a private jet, or a 3rd home in France. Income tax does NOT pay for funding government. Roads are paid for by tax on gasoline. Schools are payed for by property tax. There are plenty of other taxes to fund government.
