By Philip Jr Lustre First, they had the Oplan Stop Nognog at 2016, which the uncreative JV Bautista, a Binay flunkey, floated as a purported plan by pro-administration people to stop the presidential run of Vice President Jejomar Binay in the 2016 presidential elections. Then the Operation Maligno surfaced, as Rep. Egay Erice floated an alleged plan by the Binay camp to derail the emergence of presumptive Liberal Party presidential candidate - DILG Secretary Mar Roxas - as a serious presidential candidate. Yesterday, text messages circulated about Oplan Tiyanak, which certain anti-administration people purported as a plan to eliminate Binay completely. Will this include murder by assassination? I asked that question myself. Today, text messages re Operation Leprechaun have circulated to stop Binays media offensive by circulating a counteroffensive in the traditional and nontraditional media. This purported plan, allegedly hatched by anti-Binay people, include making public all questionable deals, which the Vice President had entered as mayor of Makati City. Minutes later, an Oplan Aswang has surfaced as a purported plan of the Binay camp to make public Roxass official acts as a public official and his private life, including his treatment of girlfriends. This is getting funny. When will this stop? Its about time for Binay to appear at the Senate public hearing and issue statements under oath instead of engaging in some dirty media campaign, which only generates animosity and hatred. The other side has to stop too because Binay, by failing to appear in the Senate, is only destroying himself. There is no need for an eye to an eye approach in its handling of the Binay imbroglio.
