...OPPORTUNITY TO TRAIN AS A COMMUNITY LEADER... Hi All, Please see below a great opportunity to train to become a community leader in the beautiful setting of Hampshire countryside. This weekend is aimed at people with close links to ethnic minority communities and who will provide these communities with greater access to the countryside. If you would like to know more prior to committing yourself to this training opportunity, please contact Gareth Siu, at: mailto:[email protected] I would like to invite you to stay over at the Sustainability Centre near Petersfield for a weekend away in the countryside. This will include many exciting activities such as a nature workshop, a community workshop (such as 1st aid or leadership training), the Steering Group Meeting, a guided walk in a truly stunning landscape and other fun things to see and do. There is also the possibility that we could forage for some fresh wild food and then cook this up together in the kitchen. The exact programme is still being worked out. The plan at the moment is to start at 10:30am Saturday 7th September and end at 4:00pm on Sunday 8th September. I have attached a poster.
