ORGANIZATION OF CARIBBEAN UTILITY REULATORS INCORPORATION in Georgetown, Guyana seeks to hire an experience candidate for the position of: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for consideration for employment as the Executive Director of OOCUR OCCUR is a non-profit organization and is incorporated in Guyana where it is expected that the duty station will be located. The Executive Director is responsible for: Providing strategic and operational leadership Managing all matters relative to membership and is the interface between OCCUR all stake holders Preparing annual strategies plans and budgets Establish and maintain contacts with regional, multilateral and international agencies in promoting the activities of OOCUR and its interests Planning and managing the execution of Annual Conferences, workshops and seminars Develop programmers to source funding for activities relating to needs of members Prepare monthly financial statements, annual financial audits and excising financial and budgetary control The individual must demonstrate good diplomatic, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability and flair to interact with regional and international government as well as member organizations, multi-nationals and other corporate stakeholders Applicants must have relevant territory education Experience with a regulatory organization at the management level would be an advantage.
