ORIENTATION # 1027 : NO OTHER ALTERNATIVES __________________________________________________ The question is: how can we possibly get out of a belief system, without simply entering into another one? how to stop being a follower of one thing without merely becoming a follower of something else/once again?.. Lets repeat this question: how can we possibly get out of a belief system, without simply entering into another one?.. The implications in this question are enormous.. Well first of one one has to admit that he or she is immensely conditioned.. Not an admission done to satisfy his or her guru or interlocutors.. but rather : a profound, inward, self recognition and intelligent self-admission.. eliminating the honour, the various yes.. but... however..., pride and all other crap.. And to admit that we are massively conditioned we have also to know what conditioned, conditionings, mean, right ? Do we completely know what it means ? Are we really sure ? Deeply sure ? Take the guru for example, the sincere guru.. (by sincere I mean: the person who really believes that what such person has to say could really be helpful to the listeners mind..) From Sanskrit the word guru is composed by two words the first of which, gu, means darkness and the second, ru, means he who takes of .. this definition means that, technically, the sincere guru, (not the crazy, not the psychic, nor the narcisistic-egotistic-nonsenses-youtube/blogger/writers clowns of nowadays who claim to be alien-hybrids or channelers of their higher self, or activators of the DNA and all other absurdities..) ...the so called sincere guru should technically be a disassembler, right ? ..A disassembler of beliefs, conditionings and so on .. Well: this is the definition of guru.. but the definition is not the defined, and often a guru becomes a guru just because people forget that he or shes nothing but a mind who has something to say .. and perhaps not a mind that has to say something so to get his or her own visibility, consensus and money.. However here comes two fundamental variants: Variant 1) : Along his or her process of thinking, is the disassembler of darkness (the guru) completely aware o his or her own conditionings .. no matter his or her genuine sincerity ? Or is there an almost subconscious, hidden desire to speak in order to build up, step after step, the audience such person requires in order to establish his or her own psychological security (also known as self-esteem) ? Is the so called guru completely aware of all of these surreptitious spider nets of the psyche ? Is the guru who responds to some religiosity, mentioning the cosmic christs the buddha and so on.. or covering his forehead with the holy dust vibhuti painting some indian symbolistic meanings .. is this person an unconditioned mind ? I dont think so .. Is this game to attract followers covered up by the apparent willingness to help the others completely understood ? Because the trivial game, and it is a trivial game, the game aimed to arises psychological medals by helping the others, without a complete understanding on how the mind moves along this process of thinking.. this game comes from one of the most camouflaged variants of pride.. This means that even the eventual sincerity of the guru contains the infected seeds of the need of consensus, validation, therefore manipulation ... which means that if the guru is mostly psychologically calibrated on what he or she wants to say and to give .. then such guru, which is nothing but a person, is merely conditioning himself or herself in order to believe that whats saying is what must be said as the truth .. but he or she is extremely inattentive in regard of how his or her own mind moves.. and this leads to a separation between intelligence and attentiveness ... and the guru mind.. I really suggest, indeed, to meet the guru in person.. Most of gurus, indeed, present a profound manifestation of negligence: while talking about the maximum topics.. they fall on the most simple daily acts such as cleaning, spontaneously, their plate, or listening attentively what people around have to say and so on.. Variant 2) Is the listener listening through a psyche completely willing to understand the whole significance of the contents shared by the speaker, or whoever he or she is .. as contents that can possibly or not improve the self-awareness ? Or is the listener listening through the filter of his or her ambitions to find something he or she believes to be the tip in life, the truth whatsoever, the path toward enlightenment or the awakening of consciousness and all of these nonsenses ? Because when the listener comes to believe to be in some sort of path toward this and that ..then the listener gets busy in such idea.. more and more .. therefore he or shes no longer a listener, but a follower, a drug addicted.. while the speaker becomes a guru, a teacher, a master.. whatever.. and at this point we have authority: (1) the guru knows (ask the guru) , 2) the follower follows, 3) the follower perhaps becomes the new guru in the future 4) there is no understanding nor private thought anymore in such a syncopated mechanics ! The speaker, when he or shes not a confabulator, indicates where the door is.. This is the job of the speaker and when the door is pointed out.. then there comes the job of the listener .. Obviously if the listener stands with a monkey face, pleased, staring at the speaker & waiting for new inspiring words .. rather then doing his job moving toward the door.. then the listener becomes stupidly petrified .. and the whole discussion among them becomes merely an entertainment .. --The door is there, I have indicated the door .. So why are you waiting for something else to come out from my mouth ? What are you waiting for ? Perhaps you would like to leave me so to search for another guru right ? A more compassionate mother-figure who maybe helps your mind to cover itself up with a soft glamour blanket of nonsenses and existential/motivational confabulations .. waiting to the heaven, the ascension, the second coming or rapture or shift to come, right ? So go ahead: do not cross the door.. do not inquire beyond of what your mind has been accumulating for such a long time.. spinning in circle among rhetorical toys made up by hopes, illusions and confabulations of all kind... because it seems to be that this is what you like.. -- I think that the fulcrum of the problem inherent in wanting to help and its methods is all about what I described above.. We can help technically, as a doctor, as a farmer, as a worker, technologically.. but psychologically, if a person is half asleep, or completely asleep.. then such person wont listen, will never listen to you if you promote deep inquiries and sharp intelligence out of conditionings : such person do not even understand what you are talking about .. but perhaps he or she follows your.. along he myth aimed to feel smart.. Only with he or she who really wants to understand you can establish a deep, immense cultivation of intelligence and radical observation.. because such person knows that in such field there cannot be possibly gurus, nor me and you and not rhetorical controversy of any kind.. :just understanding .. individual and together .. We are not here to help, we are here to understand.. everything indeed can only spring out from an unconditioned understanding mind.. or from a more or less misty conditioned psyche..
