MATCH # 68: MY CARE HALA GREEN BATTED FIRST 177 FOR 6 IN 18 OVERS BEAT JOHNSON CONTROL 116 FOR 8 IN 18 OVERS BY 61 RUNS. My Care Hala Green batted first against Johnson Control to be in trouble with losing first two wkt in the first over to make 3 for 2 and then the third wkt at 23 to make 23 for 3. Noor Butt coming at # 5 try to stabilize the innings with his fine stroke play as he made 54 in 31 balls with 3 fours while Zameer stroked unbeaten 48 in 20 balls with 4 sixes and a four and Omer contributing 21 in 7 balls with 2 sixes as Salman scored 13 in 8 deliveries with 2 fours to get to 177 for 6 in allotted 18 overs. Crown Blue won the toss to bat first against Saad Farooqui Cricket Club as Anwaar Ahmed Chand plundered 91 runs in 36 balls with 7 fours and 6 sixes as his fifty came in 18 balls whereas he first added 57 runs for the first wkt with Aqeel who made 24 in 12 balls with a six and 3 fours and then 103 runs for the second wkt in 52 balls with Saqib Butt who stroked 68 in 42 balls with 3 sixes and 5 fours. Saqib Butt then had the partnership of 48 runs in 28 balls for the 3rd wkt with Saleem Mehar who made 20 in 12 balls with 3 fours to getds to 231 for 7 in allotted 20 overs. SAAD FAROOQUI C C chasing started well with Haroon Rana smashing 67 runs in 27 balls with 4 sixes and 8 fours as his fifty came in 19 balls while his opening partner stroked 14 in 10 balls with 2 fours and the duo stitched together 64 runs in 30 balls for the first wkt. Ayaz remained unbeaten on 19 off 13 balls with 3 fours to get to the winning total of 176 for 3 in just 96 balls as Ayaz and Pervez added 61 runs for the unbroken 4th wkt in 32 balls. One wkt each was claimed by Ijaz 1-30, Saleem Shaikh 1-27 and Amir 1-25. MATCH # 72: HALA ACADEMY WHITE BATTED FIRST 220 FOR 2 IN 18 OVERS BEAT OTEX 153 FOR 3 IN 18 OVERS BY 67 RUNS. Hala Academy White batting first piled up 220 for 2 in 108 balls as Osama Amjed hammered exactly 100 in 45 balls with 3 sixes and 12 hits to the fence as his fifty came in 25 balls while Abdulmoeed scored 59 runs in 41 balls with 6 fours, Babar made 27 not out in 9 balls and Furqan stroked 19 in 11 balls with a six and 2 fours. Irfan had 1-45 and Shahid 1-30. Otex chasing could get to 153 for 3 in stipulated 18 overs to lose by 67 runs as Haroon remained unbeaten on 67 off 47 balls with a six and 7 fours and Talib Bhutta made 30 18 balls with 6 hits to the fence while Shahid remained unbeaten on 38 in 23 balls with a six and 5 fours. Babar grabbed 3 for 16 in his 4 overs. MATCH # 73: AL MAZROI XI BATTED FIRST 148 FOR 7 IN 18 OVERS BEAT MYACO C C 147 for 9 IN 18 OVERS BY ONE RUN. Al Mazroi XI batted first against Myaco XI to produce 148 runs for the loss of 7 wkts in allotted 18 overs as skipper Sufiyan Laheri top scored with 37 in 20 balls with a six and 5 fours while his opening partner Mohsin made 25 in 25 balls with a six and 2 fours and the two added 56 runs in 37 balls for the first wkt. Faisal was out for 11 off 11 with one four, Faruk 10 in 14 balls, Asif 15 in 13 balls and Abdullah unbeaten 16 in 7 deliveries with a six and a four to get to 148. Amjad claimed 4 wkts for 23, Zaheer 1-19, Zahid 1-17 and Abdulrehman 1-24. Myaco CC in reply could not score the required 15 runs in the penultimate over to lose by ONE run as they were stranded at 147 for 9. Myaco were 134 for 9 at the end of 17th over thus requiring 15 runs to win in the last over of Abdullah who had earlier in his three overs had taken 4 wkts. Zahid who made unbeaten 13 in 67 balls with 2 fours and Sadar who made 7 off 3 with one four were at crease in the last over requiring 15 could make 13 and they lost by A SOLITARY RUN. Earlier Tahir Ayyub opening stroked 50 in 33 balls with 7 hits to the ropes while Asghar scored 39 in 23 balls with 2 sixes and 3 fours and the two added 68 runs for the first wkt in 40 balls. Myaco was comfortably placed at 107 for 1 lost 2 more wkts in the 12th over and 14th over to be still quite comfortable at 116 for 3 requiring 33 runs in 29 balls with 7 wkts in hand. From here the Tsunami started when Myaco lost wkts in a heap first it was Faisal who took three wkts in his fourth over to make them 124 for 7 with one run out and then Abdullah who after taking 2 wkts in his first two earlier overs came for his third over to take 2 wkts to make them 127 for 9. In a couple of overs the match turned upside down where Myaco going strong two overs ago just lost the way with 6 wkts in two overs. This is Cricket. For Myaco Naeem made 18 in 17 balls with one four. Abdullah had 4 wkts for 24 and Faisal who took 3 for 32 who changed the complexion of the game by taking 3 wkts and a run out to completely crush the opposition. MATCH # 74: BRASA DE BRAZIL BATTED FIRST 205 FOR 4 IN 18 OVERS BEAT AL KABBANI CRICKET GROUP 134 FOR 6 IN 18 OVERS BY 71 RUNS. Brasa De Brazil racked up 205 for 4 in 18 overs through Waseem making unbeaten 57 in 33 balls with 3 fours and a six while Shaid Shoukat hammered 45 in 24 balls with a six and 8 fours and the two added 48 runs in 34 balls for the second wkt after Tahir Saeed went for nought. Allah Rakkha coming 2 down smashed 72 runs in 33 balls with 2 sixes and 6 fours as his fifty came in 21 balls and he added 112 runs in 48 balls for the 3rd wkt with Waseem. Imran made 13 not out to get to 205. One wkt each was claimed by Aleem 1-33, Rehan 1-30, AbdulRaqeeb 1-24 and Asad 1-41. Al Kabbani Cricket Group chasing was stranded at 134 for 6 in allotted 18 overs with only resistance coming from Abdulraqeeb who stroked 75 in 46 balls with 8 fours as none other could cross the double digit mark.
