OSDRI is planning its Annual Outreach event Stand Down for September 19, 20 & 21 2014.In reviewing items needed for this weekend we noticed our towels and facecloth supply is almost depleted. We are reaching out to the community in hopes to obtain new and gently used towels and facecloths. If you are interested in donating these items you may drop them off at 1010 Hartford ave in Johnston RI. Stand Down is a three day outreach event which gathers homeless and low income veterans from around Rhode Island and brings them to a military style encampment. While at Stand Down, veterans may remain on premises and are afforded access to services provided by OSDRI and longtime federal, state, and community partners.
