LLC POSITION DESCRIPTION Job Title: Project Manager – Fiber Build Department: Engineering Division: Osmose Communications Services, LLC Reports To: Manager - Operations Location: Greensboro, NC Summary: Manage a large telecommunication fiber optic network build, including outside plant design and implementation. Supervise a project design team ensuring quality and safety with profit and loss responsibilities. Responsibilities •Manage the design and deployment of a Fiber build in a metropolitan area. •Represent Osmose and the client with city officials, authorities and utility representatives. •Project manager will act as a single point of contact with our client and relay and track milestones, timelines and information required by the engineering team to design and build a safe and effective network. •Track and report project status via a project tracking software and the Microsoft Office Applications-Outlook, PPT, Excel, & Word. Ability to read ISP/OSP records, advanced knowledge of public right of way and ISP/OSP Fiber Optic Plant deployments. Requirements •Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline and 3-4 years technical/telephony experience with 3+ years directly related to Fiber Network Builds in Metropolitan areas. •Or 6+ years of directly related telephony or engineering operations experience. •And/or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience. •Knowledge of OSP design principles and experience with a major telecommunications service provider. •Ability to read ISP/OSP records, advanced knowledge of public right of way and Fiber Optic Plant infrastructure deployments •Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Ability to work and communicate with all levels of employees and management •Support all company policies and safety practices Please submit resumes to: Dennis Branch at dbranch@osmose AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER M/F/D/V
