OSUN STATE: WELCOMING THE MONTH OF JULY ….OUR DAY OF DECISSION IS JUST A YEAR AWAY. Yes, there is always an end to everything that has a beginning in life. By July next year a decision is bond to be taken by the good people of Osun State. A decision on whether to continue or discontinue in this present condition that they have found themselves and their state shall be collectively taken. A decision on whether the lies, deceits, policy inconsistencies cum summersault, impoverishment, criminal segregation of citizens, systematic looting and government confusion should be discontinued or continued. A journey of a thousand kilometers, they say, starts with a step. Now that our days of decision is some 365 days away is the time to think and reflect back on the journey so far. What have been my gains and benefits in the past three years as a citizen of the state? How well are our individual and collective lives moving as a people and as a state? This and many more questions we have to ask ourselves before the day of decision. We have to ask at this point whether we can still make the journey of another four years to come under this same condition of thirst and hunger in the same vehicle that is been driven by this dead drunk, reckless and largely insincere Lagos driver on a rough road terrain even as the vehicle (our state in this case) if fast running out of gas (funds) due our driver’s imprudent fuel (funds) management style. Osun people, begin to decide today and as you do so remember that a devil known is far better than an unseen angel. The best of unseen angel we have seen so far. Your judgment is as good as mine.
