OSUN2014 GUBER ELECTION: POLITICS...AND THE WAY(S) WE PLAY - TopicsExpress

OSUN2014 GUBER ELECTION: POLITICS...AND THE WAY(S) WE PLAY IT For about 2years now, i have been involved in public affairs activities against Gov Rauf Aregbesola’s administration in Osun State, based simply on #MyPoliticalBeliefs... • That; The TINUBU’s overbearing influences on the state, widely believed to be principally responsible for one of the most outrageous decisions of Rauf Aregbesola’s govt, to demolish and scrape my ALMA-MATA, Fakunle Comp. High School, Osogbo for obviously, a selfish benefit... • That; Governor Aregbesola’s self-centered policies in the state during the last #closeto 4yrs of his administration, and the manufactured propaganda for cover-ups, etc... WERE UNDEMOCRATIC!!! AGAIN, MY OWN POLITICAL VIEWS AND BELIEFS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT CONTRARY TO MY WILL AND EXPECTATIONS, OSUN PEOPLE #VOTED TO RE-ELECT RAUF AREGBESOLA AS GOVERNOR. . . AND I RESPECT THAT... But two days after the election, and with my instant show of sportmanship spirits to friends and supporters of Ogbeni Aregbesola in congratulating them just after the official/final announcement of the election results by INEC, clearly won by same Aregbesola... Some people still continue to display unfriendly behaviours of Old Era Politics and in immature manners. I then ask... is politics still DO OR DIE? If not, why the HATRED?? Surprisingly too, folks in my good old neighbourhood in Osogbo openly staged provocative protests including public insults towards and right in-front of my house, ...even when they have won? “What if Omisore had won, would you all have physically attacked me and my family”?? I think i reserve every right to ownchoice... And i owe nobody no explanation or apology as to why... Where were you all back in 2006/07 when i worked for the same Aregbesola? HOW I SEE IT;: Play politics but do not allow politics to play you, In every race/competition, a winner must emerge, Today, you are all celebrating the outcome of Sat.9 election, as the WINNER of course... Tommorrow, who knows what’s going to happen... And in the days to come, i might just be the one celebrating, because no one wins always, forever... PASSIONATE THANKS to my family, friends and associates who believed in my judgements. We are winners too... because i am very sure Mr. Governor will look into ‘those’ areas of his shortcomings. #NobodyIsPerfect... Again, Congrats to all Apc members across the state and Nigeria at large, on the victory. To INEC & President Goodluck Jonathan, thanks for the Free, Fair and Credible election without Violence... Eniyan Iyi ati Omoluabi Niwa! Long Live FR Nigeria!! Peace!!!
