Woolworth who is today one of the biggest names in department stores in US and abroad, was not allowed to see customers during his early stage of working because his boss said he lacked the sense needed to do so. Come with me to the empire of Mr. Soichiro Honda: this billion dollar business man who today is known as Honda, was an initial failure; he was turned down by Toyota motor corporation for a job after an interview because he was not qualified as a young engineer. Mr. Bill Gates was first a business failure after dropping out of university. He later co-founded Microsoft which is a household name today. Oh! What reason will you give God and man if you fail? Mr. Socrates who was regarded as one of the greatest philosophers of the classical era was called an immoral corrupter of youth and he was sentenced to death. Yet he rose from the ashes of a bad name and kept working and teaching until he was forced to poison himself. Mr. Van Beethoven was a failure in violin music. His teacher felt he was hopeless but he kicked off human opinion and composed some of the best love symphonies of all time - 5 of them while he was completely deaf. Ah! Reject that satanic excuse in your life for failure. Do you know that Mr. Vincent Gogh who is today regarded as a master painter, sold only one painting for a very small amount of money and that his friends told him he was wasting his time? Yes, but he closed his ears to the downpour of satanic DISCOURAGEMENT RAIN and even STARVED HIMSELF while painting. Today, though dead, his paintings bring in hundreds of millions of dollars. Caleb did not allow his age to affect his destiny pursuit. At 85, he pursued his dream and possessed his possession (See todays scripture vs. 10-12). You must pay any price, and make up your mind that on this planet earth, you will never fail no matter the obstacles, delays or discouragement. You will be the next success story if you hold on. I ask again as we close: IF YOU FAIL, WHAT EXCUSE WILL YOU GIVE GOD AND MAN? Pray now.
