OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH We believe in the only one true God: the Father and His Son, the Lord and Saviour Yeshua haMashiach - Jesus Christ. This is God who is the Creator of heaven and earth. Colossians 2:2. John 14:9-11. Deuteronomy 6:4. and Titus 2:13. We also believe The Lord Jesus is the Word of God which became flesh. John 1:1,2,3 and 14. The Father is to be worshipped and the Son of God is also to be worshipped. John 4:23,24. Hebrews 1:6. Luke 24:52. Matthew 2:11 The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Matthew 10:20. 1 Peter 1:11 The Holy Spirit was sent to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, to guide us into all truth and to lead us into all things and to declare to us the things of the Lord Jesus. John 16:13-15. 1 Corinthians 12:3. The Holy Spirit will not accept worship of Himself and has never requested to be worshipped. Acts 2:1-11. and Philippians 3:3 We believe that there are three witnesses in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. - 1John 5:7. We believe in the ministering of angels to those who will inherit salvation. Hebrews 1:14. We believe that our salvation comes in three phases: (i) To be born again, that is, to be saved, redeemed and justified; John 3:3,5. Mark 16:16-18. Matthew 28:18-20. (ii) To work out our salvation with fear and trembling; Philippians 2:12,13. 1Corinthians 1:18 (iii) Having done these, we will receive the end of our faith - the salvation of our souls. 1Peter 1:3-5 and 9. We believe that the first stage of our salvation is gained through repentance and baptism in water. After doing this we are added to the church the body of Christ. Acts 2:38,41. We believe we receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us to witness to the Lord Jesus. (Acts 1:8, Rom 8:9) We believe that he who endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22 We also believe that once saved you can lose your salvation and once saved you are saved forever if you endure to the end. John 15:2, 6. Hebrews 6:4-6. 10: 26-31. Revelation 3:5. John 3:15,16. John 5:24. John 11:25,26. 2Timothy 4:7,8. We believe we must bear much fruit of the Spirit. John 15:8 We believe all authority has been given to the Lord Jesus in heaven and on earth. Matthew 28:18 We believe that we are to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all the Lord Jesus commanded us. Matthew 28:19, 20 We believe that the manifestation of the Spirit is for the profit of all. 1Corinthians 12:7-11. We believe that the gospel of Jesus is the gospel of the kingdom of God which must be preached with signs, wonders and miracles; healing the sick, cleansing the leapers, raising the dead and casting out demons, all in the name of Jesus. Mark 16:20, Luke 7:22, Matthew 10:7,8 We believe that all believers in Christ Jesus must be devoted to the apostles doctrine, to fellowship, to breaking of bread and to prayers. Acts 2:42 We believe the body of Christ must be perfectly united. 1 Corinthians 1:10. ...and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. (John 10:16) We believe in the resurrection of the dead, eternal judgment and the imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ who will be coming to judge both the living and the dead. Hebrews 6:1,2. We believe that salvation is of the Jews. We believe that all Israel will be saved. (John 4:22. Romans 11:26) We believe in praying for the peace of Jerusalem. (Psalm 122:6) We believe all the Scripture is given by the inspiration of God. 2Timothy 3:16,17. We believe that the Father is the head of the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:3 We believe that the Lord Jesus is the head of man. 1 Corinthians 11:3 We believe that man is the head of woman. 1 Corinthians 11:3 We believe that a man ought not to cover his head when praying to God or prophesying. 1 Corinthians 11:4 We believe that a woman ought to cover her head when praying to God or prophesying. 1 Corinthians 11:5,6 and 13 We believe that wives are to submit to their husbands as unto the Lord in everything. Ephesians 5:22 We believe that a believing wife is not to depart from her husband in the Lord. But even if she does she must remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. 1 Corinthians 7:10, 11 We believe that a believing husband must not divorce his wife. 1 Corinthians 7:11 We believe that husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved His church and gave Himself for her. - Ephesians 5:25. We believe that a woman must not teach or take authority over a man in the church. 1 Timothy 2:12 We believe that older women are to teach younger women in the church. Titus 2:3, 4, 5 We believe that fathers are not to provoke their children to wrath; but bring them up in training and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 We believe that children are to obey and honour their parents in the Lord so that it may be well with them and so that they may live long on the earth.
