OUT OF SPACE at BARCS Hi Rescue Partners, We are completely out of space at the shelter! Below are just a few dogs in need that would help open a kennel for another deserving dog in need. 2nd request, URGENT - Rescue only: Jessie ~ 6 mon old, unaltered female, 13 lb Jessie is an adorable little gal. She came to the shelter last night after she was apparently given away on the street, abandoned inside a cardboard box. Terrified and injured, Jessie is non-weight bearing on her right front leg and appears to have an old injury. She may have also suffered head trauma at some point and appears to have limited vision. X-rays and further examination, including possible neuro consult, are recommended. She can sometimes be snappy with new people at first but still tries to crawl into your lap for attention. We need to get her out of the shelter and into rescue ASAP for further medical care. She is available immediately due to medical. 2nd request - Piglet ~ 6 yrs old, unaltered female, 36 lbs Piglet is an adorable girl. She came to the shelter with several puppies and her buddy Eeyore and is looking for her very own happily ever after! This little gal is appropriately named and snorts like a piggy when she wiggles. Piglet was dog tested (on leash due to the URI) with both male and female assist dogs and she did great! She was playful, and well behaved with excellent social skills. She is currently being treated for a URI and wed like to get her out of the shelter and into a home for recovery. During her initial examination, our vet noticed sore hind limbs, dental tartar and superficial healing wounds on her left hind leg. Available immediately. 3rd request - Eeyore ~ 3 years old, unaltered male, 56 lbs Eeyore is such a handsome boy! Hes friendly guy with a non-stop tail wag and is already a favorite among the volunteers - not only for his lady-killer looks but sweet personality. He has been dog tested (on leash due to URI) with both male and female dogs and did very well! He was friendly and playful with excellent social skills. Eeyore is almost done his URI meds for a cold, but would much rather be relaxing at home! Can you help Eeyore catch the break he deserves?
