*OUTRAGE - DURING ANTI-ISRAEL PROTEST IN TORONTO, AN ARAB CALLS FOR THIRD INTIFADA (VIOLENT UPRISING) IN CANADA Issam al-Yamani, an Executive Director of Palestine House in Mississauga, called for launching a third Palestinian Intifada (meaning violent uprising) in Palestine and the Diaspora, implicitly also in Canada. In his speech, Yamani who allegedly was also a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), designated by Canada as a terrorist organization, said among other things the following: “He [Abbas] should be the leader of this struggle, and we call upon him to call for an immediate Palestinian third Intifada, popular resistance in the West Bank and in Gaza, in the refugee camps and in the Diaspora. Wikipedia entry: Yamani was the subject of an investigation by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS). A report conducted in 1992 alleged that Al Yamani was a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. As a result of the report a security certificate was created for Al Yamani in 1993. In 2001, and a new application for his removal from Canada was begun shortly after, under regular immigration proceedings rather than the security certificate provision. Most recently a deportation order was issued for his removal on April 20, 2006. It has yet to be executed.
