OYE VEHHHH ..... FB .... GUYS n DOLLS .... Let me chase away your Monday Morning Blues ... or, add to them ... hahahahaha ..... Last Evening I spent an awesome 2 hours with Varun Veigas and Umez Khan going over the Food and the Back Story of how Al Karam Kebab House has grown from its native environment at 73 Bazar Matia Mahal, Jama Masjid, Dilli - 6, to find root in Gurgaon (A - 133, Supermart - 1, DLF Phase 4 ... 9910087760 and 9818838230) and Delhi (123 - 124 Satya Niketan Market , Opp Venkys College .... 9810891490 and 9818878266).. I am awaiting a few more details before I write the full story, but, let me whet YOUR appetite with what I ate yesterday at the Satya Niketan Outlet. The pictures say it all .... small descriptions are attached .... it is amazingly rich, cholestrol laden, artery clogging, fantastic food the like of which YOU only get in Dilli 6 ... will it relocate successfully in an increasingly health conscious world?? Well, one way to find out is to speak with fellow Diners ... so that is just what I did ... First up 2 young Sardar jis from Naraina, who went through a huge langar at breack neck speed ... it was a weekly affair for them they said ... Did they not miss booze?? O Paaji, Chadhaa Ke Aaney Haan ... said it all .... Then, as I was leaving, a middle aged couple from South Ex did me the signal honor of recognizing me from FB!! :) :) ..... To say that I was stunned would be understating it ... They came, they said, because it was such a neat and clean place; the food was as authentic as it could be; and the value for money was very pleasing to them.... My theory is that if a Restaurant can attract repeat Guests from a 5 km radius around it, then it is on the Road to Success .... Kaalaa Teekaa ... Touch Wood!!
