Oana Iulia Irimia, Ruxandra-Alma Dima and Andrei-Alexandru Stoica are representatives of Romania. Oana is a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest. She is passionate by history, international relations and law, as well as by sport, movies and humanities generally. Oana would like to have a career in international law, with a special emphasis on human rights law. Oana wrote us that “this competition is an opportunity to improve my knowledge in IHL but also my capacity to react promptly in situations of conflict and tension. It is also my first contact with that Eastern part of Europe, so it will be a great opportunity to learn more about your culture. I cant wait to meet in Belarus because I believe it will be an interesting visit but also an useful challenge for future activities.” Alma is 23 years old and she is a 3rd year student of Law School in Bucharest. Alma loves music, movies, books and spending time with her friends. In her spare time Alma is a singer, an attempted politician and, generally, a law student that strives to study to become a lawyer or a diplomat. Alma is especially interested in foreign policies and human rights protection, she is trying to stay informed through any means about events all around the world. She is also a Vice-President of student body. Here is Alma’s expectations about the upcoming Competition: “I have to admit, this competition is both brilliant and scary, if you ask me, but the moment I decided to join I knew it was a great opportunity to experience new horizons and meet people.” The 3rd teammate’s name is Andrei, 24. He is a graduate from Nicolae Titulescu University and soon to be enrolled in their International Law Masters program, hoping to join another one at another university. Andrei has been an active member of the romanian civil society for some time as a member of an UN Youth Association. Besides this, he enjoys a lot of things, mostly participating in competitions and playing board, card, social and other games.
