Oaxaca&Hidalgo: Oaxaca-we love to eat mole,pescado seco(fish)frijoles, our tortillas are huge!! And we like to add flour to our tortillas....we tend to put our tortillas in a tenate with a servilleta and face up. Others says our tortillas r put the wrong way. Lol.... In Hidalgo when I went the tortillas r smaller, I learned what esquites are,while in Oaxaca they are called elotes preparados...(corn with mayo,cheese and chile powder....even though both states r in Mexico they have different traditions and foods. And the music is a lil different too. In Oaxaca its Chilenas and in Hidalgo its huapango i think lol. But its the best of both worlds although Im more used to my Oaxaca traditions bc my fam from hidalgo are in Mexico or not in this state :) the only peace I get is from our Tias from our husbands :)
