Obama Care - MSNBC (MSNBC?) reported yesterday that the Independent Payment Advisory Board (I-PAB) was a Death Panel? IPAB was created as a strengthened version of the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC). I guess MSNBC is as nutty as Sarah Palin, sence thats what she said in 2009. The jest is that IPAB is feared to have too much power and could reduce payments to doctors and facilities for certain high cost procedures, such as cancer and end of live care (fancy name for old people), making those procedures too costly to be given under ObamaCare. During the last elections, Obama did mention that America needed to come to terms with treating high cost issues such as treatment for cancer and the elderly.
