Obama Protestors Hang Signs at Hamilton Place Overpass The Tennessee Chapter of Overpasses for America didnt let Fridays rain keep them from sending a message to drivers on Interstate 75 near Hamilton Place in Chattanooga. Protestors painted banners that included the words Obama Sucks, Stand Up America, and Honk for English, as a way to call for the closure of the southern U.S. border and put an end to illegal immigration. A release by the group sent to NewsChannel9 earlier in the week says the protest will also be a call for our elected leadership to deny liberal demands for blanket amnesty for illegal aliens. Demonstrators told our photographer on the scene that they are calling for the nation to get rid of Obamacare. Demonstrators set up at the Franks Road Overpass near the Regal Cinemas at Hamilton Place Mall, and were there from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers say this is one of many events to be held Friday and Saturday.
