Obamacare...Did you know...you are going to see a loss of ownership of your medical records. The entire system, from hospitals on down to individual doctors, are being pressured to adopt electronic medical records and send patient information to the federal government’s medical database by 2015. Those who do not comply will be hit with even further reduced payments for services. Essentially, the government is going to steal your personal and private records…and you will have no say in the matter. They can do whatever they want with this information, including selling it to private companies looking to sell you additional products and services. There will likely be even more waivers and exemptions for the political elites and Democrat cronies of Obama. In fact, the Regime and HHS Secretary Sebelius have already granted over 1,000 waivers and special exemptions to Democrat donors, political allies, unions, and others. So, the onerous regulations and 20 new taxes will be borne by you and I but none of these elite. How wonderful! All of these changes ultimately mean that you are going pay more for fewer treatment options and wait longer to see a doctor. The quality of healthcare is also going to deteriorate as more doctors and hospital choose to close or leave the business. ObamaCare is going to replace the efficiency of our free market system with one that is controlled by heavy-handed government regulators and micro-managed by bureaucrats who have no idea how to really help patients. This seems to me to be going in exactly the opposite direction of where we need to be.
