Obamacare is the law of the land I keep hearing, as if that makes it untouchable? Prohibition, slavery, Jim crow laws, DOMA, dont ask dont tell, women not being able to vote, the 3/5 compromise, the list goes on and on, were all once the law of the land too. They were horrible laws and were changed by us. What if everyone had just accepted that its the law of the land and stopped fighting? What if the people in the minority in those times had just said, well, they won, we gotta just accept it?. I hate the argument that Obama won so we just gotta deal with it. Ted Cruz, mike lee, the tea party and the house GOP won their elections as well and they control the house so you gotta learn to work together. Working together doesnt mean rubber stamping obamas agenda. The people elected Ted Cruz and the house to go fight for their beliefs. What do you want them to do? Just say the hell with their ideas and constituents? Thats what it sounds like. When did a democrat or liberal ever say we lost so we gotta just give up and go home? George bush won two elections as did Reagan and you lefties kicked and screamed and fought like hell. Why cant we do the same thing? What if people who fought for civil rights had that attitude? You expect us to just shut up and go away yet not one time did yall just roll over and show any respect. We witnessed the president basically say I won and screw talk radio, screw the tea party, screw the bloggers, only listen to me and nobody else. He felt the need to continue to attack his enemies instead of sit down with them and work together. Its called saul alinsky folks. He doesnt want compromise, he wants his enemies wiped off the map, period. You could see his contempt for even having to work with others yesterday. He doesnt believe in leadership or governing, its about smearing your enemy and eliminating them. He doesnt wanna work with anybody. He was ticked that he even had to deal with this. Hes pissed we didnt just go home and give him his way everytime. Saul alinsky wrote rules for radicals and dedicated it to Lucipher, the first ever radical incase you were wondering and its one of obamas favorite books. All he has accomplished acting like this is making it harder to govern and accomplish anything. Any hope of bi partisanship is out the window now. His win may have cost him a lot in the long run. He is an angry man and clearly has a chip on his shoulder which he displays almost daily now. Its beneath the office to sit there and take shots and use his kind of rhetoric. Thisbe doesnt feel he should have to deal with anybody, just get his way all the time. This argument of we won deal with it is BS folks, the left has never done that. People will remember who fought for them as this obamacare nightmare unfolds and people get hit with reality. I really think rush limbaugh lives rent free in Barrys head and so does the tea party. Hes the kind of guy who probably doesnt sleep because he knows someone doesnt like him or agree with him, its clearly pissing him off and driving him and the left to new levels of name calling and threats and even threats of death. So, keep up the fight, were not going away and he knows that. Thats why he said what he said and was so angry, he knows Cruz, lee, rand Paul and tea party are gonna fight him every single time he goes for guns or immigration. Its why he and the left isolate the tea party and Ted Cruz and employ the media to destroy them. People listen to them and he and the media are terrified of them and must smear them before they halt his agenda, which they have done nicely on a lot of key issues. He knows well be there tomorrow and dont give a damn what he or his pals think and that keeps him awake at night.-Bama
