And for the CBO report: cbo.gov/sites/default/files/cbofiles/attachments/43900-2014-02-ACAtables.pdf It is worth noting that the net cost (the number that matters) actually went down from May 2013 to Feb 2014 (thats good and expected - more time = lower cost) I will also point out that, based on that report, theres definitely a lot of work that needs to be done to the Affordable Care Act to improve it for everyone while reducing costs. Theres a LOT of costs, and thats expected and an undeniable fact of new, nationwide programs (whether through government or private sector). You know what Id like to see happen? Id like to see an RFP to the private sector on how they would effectively manage implementation and maintenance of the intention of the law (because the letter of the law can be rewritten to accommodate best practices)
