There went any hint of sympathy. The most important area where President Obama has lost the American people is in foreign policy. Americans are not used to being weak. They’re certainly not used to being supplicants. They have watched for years as President Obama has degraded American influence and strategic reach. They have watched Vladimir Putin run circles around a President who ostensibly carries the title “most powerful man in the world.” They have watched as the American military withdrew from Iraq without a trace. They have watched as Libya murdered an American Ambassador and they watched as ISIS thumbed its nose at the United States by chopping off the heads of defenseless American citizens. Most of all they watched the leader of the free world practically beg the Iranians for a nuclear deal that would leave them with the ability to enrich uranium as a threshold nuclear power. All this they have watched and finally decided to pummel the President at the polls. President Obama now has the lowest rating in foreign policy of any President in modern American history.
