Obedience to the moral law of God is a condition to seeing the blessings of God in our lives, not in the absolute sense, but in so dependent a sense that we cant meaningfully account ourselves Christians if were living outside. There are a lot of people that have taken up calling themselves Followers of Jesus instead of Christians and really that bar is too high for me; at best we follow at such a tragic distance. But still, if we think to ourselves I dont see God working in my life, I dont see the blessings, I dont recognize that He is using me to the end of His own glory, we should remember first that His glory is met most in what Christ has done for us and not what we do for Him, but then are we loving our neighbor as ourselves, are we caring for the poor and the broken hearted, are we living the lives of a holy priesthood, of self sacrifice, self denial, of praise.
