View Sign EVANS, Ga. - Entered into rest Saturday, February 1, 2014, Paula Polly Sinclair Foster, 73, wife of the late Don Foster. Born in Cincinnati, OH in 1940 to the late Norris and Marian Sinclair, she was raised in Marietta, GA. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1958, where she was a cheerleader and played basketball. She was also a graduate of the University of Georgia in 1962, where she was a member of Phi Mu sorority and then went on to serve as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines. She and Donald Osborn Foster, her high school sweetheart, married on March 27, 1965 and moved to Augusta in 1984. Polly worked for 16 years in the Pro Shop of the Augusta National Golf Club and attended Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church. Family members include sons: Matt Foster (Chrystal) of Lexington, KY, Brad Foster (Susan) of Augusta, GA, Whit Foster (Laci) of Evans, GA; grandchildren: Ethan, Hunter, Wyatt, and Sinclair (anticipating arrival mid-February); sister: Kathryn S. Prestridge of Shreveport, LA; brother: John A. Sinclair of Marietta, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by additional family members in Smyrna and Marietta, GA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church with Dr. Matthew Rich officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank her caregivers at Brandon Wilde for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 2607 Commons Boulevard, Augusta, GA 30909.
