Obviously, it is not safe to shop in American malls. As with the LAX incident, the government must now turn away from the unwinnable gun safety debate, because too many people are dying as bought-and-paid-for politicians talk, and increase security in public places. There is no question that an armed individual can walk into an American shopping mall and kill a lot of people. This is a fact. Given the gun culture we live in, the only possible response is much tighter security. Id rather stand in a long line and be searched than shot. We all have the right to life under the Constitution. Enter an airport, shopping mall, school, etc. at your own risk or the risk of your children. The government hasnt even tried to enhance mental health treatment in the country. So we are on our own until something gives. I think its a matter of how many deaths the American public is willing to accept.
