Obviously there are a lot of things at play in this issue, but I dont believe that seeking justice and supporting our law enforcement officers are mutually exclusive. I love and appreciate my local police force, especially they guys who park outside the church to slow down traffic in the school zone! I also want young men of every skin tone to be able to trust their police force. I want justice for all. If I say that black lives matter, it doesnt mean that white lives dont matter. If I say that people need to be personally responsible for their actions and behaviors, it doesnt mean that society hasnt become part of a larger problem of injustice. Folks, we gotta get over lazy thinking! (I include myself in that indictment) Real progress in our nation is going to require the self-restraint of not making snap judgments based on media snippets!
