October 15th Council meeting update: a group of masters students evaluated our ASAP (Art city Substance Abuse And Prevention) programs and found they are successfully making a positive difference in participating families. The ASAP program works to strengthen families and help prevent teen drug use through various programs such as Mayors recognition awards which recognizes elementary, junior high and high school students in our community who are a positive influence in their classrooms and neighborhoods. This Saturday at 8 p.m. is the masque ball at the art museum. All proceeds from the ball go towards supporting ASAP. Tickets (only $10) can be purchased at the link below.
