October 23, 2014 Moment of Grace FRAGILE – HANDLE WITH CARE Part 2 Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. 12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:11-13 NIV As a child of God, believer in Jesus Christ, filled with Holy Spirit, how should I treat my spouse, children, neighbors, others in general? Every relationship is only for a moment of time. I was privileged to talk to a couple who celebrated 77 years of marriage! They both said it seemed like a short amount of time. If we compare that to eternity it is a short time! Every relationship is a special gift. Smiles, handshakes, touch on the shoulder, and a cherry hello/greeting cost us nothing but can make a great difference to someone. Our Moment of Grace thought is a reminder to us all – treat our moment to moment meetings with tender care! Life is Fragile- hand with care! Someone else said, Life is fragile, handle with prayer! PRAYER: Father God, thank You for loving me so that I may flow that love out to others. Thank You, Lord, for bringing special gifts of people into my life.
