October 23rd: On this Day in Music History 1943, Born on this day, Alfred Gregory Greg Ridley was one of the more visible rock bassists in England, and a founding member of the successful rock band Humble Pie.As a teenager he became part of British rock & rolls third wave. Ridley died on 19th November 2003. 1949, Born on this day, Michael Burston commonly known by the stage name Würzel, was an English musician and formerly a guitarist in the British heavy metal band, Motörhead until his passing July 9, 2011. 1956, Born on this day, Dwight David Yoakam is an American singer-songwriter, actor and film director, most famous for his pioneering country music.
