October 26,2014 Prison Awareness Sunday 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time Lord, give me the grace to choose to love You above all else and to love others generously through my sincere efforts and goodwill. Flood my heart with Your love as I open it up to You, allowing me to strive harder to live by Your commandment of love which leads me into a fuller love for You and my neighbor. Strengthen me in Your love that I may identify my will with Yours and faithfully practice charity towards others in more concrete ways. May my love for You move me to forsake my own preferences and advantages so that I may always do what is good, right and just. May I never judge from appearance or judge others by their defects, weaknesses and imperfections but instead try to be generous with praise, constantly seeing what is positive in them. Grant that nothing may keep me away from Your marvelous love and from the joy of serving others with a cheerful heart. Teach me to love You personally, wholeheartedly, without any reservation or compromise as I strive to love You sincerely with all my heart with all my soul with all my mind and with all my strength.
