October 26, 2014: The view today at The Blowing Rock Attraction is just stunning! These photos from this morning show how colorful local view areas are right now. The best fall foliage displays have moved to areas at or below 3000 feet, which means you can enjoy looking down on color in the Johns River Gorge from The Blowing Rock, and in other valleys from local overlooks along the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can see in these photos that many trees on the higher ridgelines are bare, while the lower elevations are showing a beautiful transition. Peak fall color is now moving into the foothills.
