November 3 2012 We were driving in the dark to find a house Joels friend in Maine said we could use down Dock Road..... we could see the sky line lights of Atlantic City glowing brightly through the remains of that house. The night was crystal clear. Then we were offered a boat to live a board which turned turned out to be uninhabitable . Aaron checked it out. Then insisted we ALL stay with him in Forked River so Joel could get Back to work. We served in Tuckerton unable to come home. In hind site Surf City did relatively well. Up and down rt 9 shelters after shelters. Many chances to serve many hugs to share. Never imagined we would be evacuated more than a day or so. We began living on Novembers rent.
