October 27th 2014. Last night ended eerily with an ominous series of barks from Charlies doggy. Probably just a deer, but I have decided I want a pair of night vision goggles. I had to get up and put the fire out anyhow, so being suddenly not sleepy was beneficial.( Stove is smoking in the house. ) This morning started out first by dragging myself out of bed only to assault my hand while simultaneously starting the generator.(yes Im still looking for sympathy) But heres what makes today noteworthy. After Gabe asked me if I was,having a baby or something(he thought women only scream like that right before popping a baby out) HE started pestering me to put him to work! Mom, should I do the laundry or bring in some firewood?(ok Mom..keep cool, yeah right! (((HUG TIME))) BRAGGING RIGHTS!!! This boy has taken over Laundry! Forcefully! Did yall hear that! My seven year old is demanding to do the laundry! O happy Day, October 27,2014!
