Ode of Appreciation: My Husbands Car Earlier this week, I - TopicsExpress

Ode of Appreciation: My Husbands Car Earlier this week, I had Jon take my car to work, it runs a bit better. I had the day off, so I wouldnt need it, I thought. It turns out, there were a few things I needed, so I loaded up the girls to run some errands in my husbands car. I turned on the hose to fill up the radiator, because it over heats. We hop in, buckle up, roll the windows down and crank the vents to keep the air moving as there is no a/c. I reach over and lift up the flap of upholstery on the drivers side door so I can find the handle to shut the door. I then reach up with my right hand to adjust the mirror to find it held in place and dangling by electrical tape. For a second I almost chuckle to myself. As I pull out of the drive way and tap my fingers to the shimmy of the tires as it moves the car back and forth, the steering wheel shaking, Im overwhelmed with emotion. Mind you, I complain on almost a daily basis about my drive to work!! I have been blessed by the universe with this spectacular, gentle, calm, understanding and great man. I am lucky to be able to call him my husband. The most honest and true living example of unconditional love. I love you with all of my heart, Jon Rowdon.
