Ode to the Urinalysis I undertook some required testing - TopicsExpress

Ode to the Urinalysis I undertook some required testing today. Personally, I thought the whole thing was a bit beneath me; pretty much of a waste. Yet, I wanted to give it my best shot so I focused on taking a more fluid approach. I sensed this was the time to pour myself into the task because it was such a golden opportunity. The instructor freaked me out by constantly peering over my shoulder while I was trying to concentrate on doing my work. I didn’t say anything to her, though –I was too tensed-up to get pissed-off. I just directed myself back to the task at hand. I’ve found it usually works best to have an objective to aim toward, although from past experience I’ve learned that it is not a good idea to set your sights too low. The safest technique for a good score is to give it a straight shot right up front. At one point, I really had those creative juices flowing; I strained a bit at first, but once I was able to spark that certain urge, it was like a dam broke. Then, I got a bit shaky using the nationally accepted “Hover Tactic.” Maybe such a defensive stance wasn’t the accurate approach for this particular test. I decided to just relax and go with the flow and things came out a lot better that way. I am glad I passed the experience, even though I felt completely drained afterwards. I feel sorry for whoever grades my work; I got kind of sloppy in a couple of places. But, what the heck, it all comes out in the wash, huh?
